Ms. Garima Jain, Co-Convenor of MediaConnect, commenced the event by welcoming the distinguished panelists. In her opening address, Dr. Parul Mehra, Head of DME Media School, highlighted the institution’s commitment to blending technical expertise with ethical values. She emphasized that while AI is transforming the hiring process, the role of human judgment and industry ethics remains paramount.
The discussion revolved around AI’s integration into various media functions, particularly recruitment, journalism, and public relations. Experts noted that while AI enhances efficiency, it should be seen as a complement to human expertise rather than a replacement.

AI in Hiring: Efficiency vs. Ethical Concerns
