Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited the ongoing Rajasthan Utsav 2025 at Bikaner House, New Delhi, on Saturday. She was accompanied by Additional Resident Commissioner Anju Om Prakash and Joint Resident Commissioner Rinku Meena, who gave insights into the festival’s highlights. Deputy Resident Commissioner Manoj Singh, along with other officials and staff, were also present.
During her visit, Diya Kumari visited the craft fair and food festival organized by Rajivika, where she interacted with artisans, farmers, and handicraft workers from different parts of Rajasthan. She inquired about their work and techniques and encouraged them by appreciating their efforts.
She also extended New Year wishes to the visitors at the festival. Rajasthan Utsav, a nine-day event, will continue until April 2 to mark Rajasthan Foundation Day.
The Deputy Chief Minister also visited the Tourist Welcome Center at Bikaner House, where she was welcomed by Deputy Director of Tourism Deepali Sharma, Assistant Director Chhatrapal Yadav, and Tourism Officer Manoj Sharma.
She appreciated the tourism department’s stall at Rajasthan Utsav and recorded her remarks in the visitor’s book. The event also featured cultural performances, including Gair dance, Chang Dhap dance, Ghoomar, Rimm Bhavai, and Natkala, performed by folk artists from Rajasthan.
During her interaction with the media at Rajasthan Utsav, Diya Kumari spoke about the efforts being made in the tourism sector in Rajasthan. She requested national media representatives to promote Rajasthan tourism and invited them to visit different tourist circuits across the state.
