In preparation for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, political rallies are in full swing, with the Congress party recently organizing its 11th-day Jan Aakrosh Yatra in Jabalpur. The yatra, led by Congress leaders Ajay Singh, MP Vivek Tankha, and AICC National Secretary Sanjay Kapoor, saw the participation of numerous Congress activists, including MLA Sanjay Yadav and Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh. The event was marked by enthusiastic greetings, with flowers showered along the way.
During the yatra, the Congress leaders didn’t hold back in their criticism of the BJP. They pointed out that the people have become aware that the Bharatiya Janata Party, along with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is resorting to deception using hollow promises. Ajay Singh Rahul, during his address, highlighted that the Jan Aakrosh Yatra has already covered over 11,000 kilometers, passing through 230 assembly constituencies.
With the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct just around the corner, the list of Congress candidates is yet to be released. Ajay Singh Rahul assured that the party will announce the list of suitable candidates at the right time. He also expressed his dismay at the BJP’s use of derogatory terms for senior leaders like Kamal Nath, emphasizing that respecting elders has always been a cherished tradition in our country.
