Recently, Kangana Ranaut has been involved in a number of box-office failures. The public and reviewers have responded unfavourably to all of her recent films, from Dhaakad and Thalaivii to Tejas and Chandramukhi 2. The actress has now spoken out about her experiences with numerous setbacks at the ticket window.
When comparing herself to Shah Rukh Khan, who made an incredible comeback with Pathaan the previous year, Kangana stated that even the biggest performers in the movie business fail far more often than they succeed. The world has changed from what it was. Ten films starring Shah Rukh Khan are not yet available, but Pathaan is. Three to four saal baad Manikarnika chali, phir 7-8 saal koi film nahi chali, phir Queen chali. When Emergency opens next, who knows? It might do really well at the box office, as the actress teased at the Times Now Summit in 2024.
Kangana continued by saying that Shah Rukh and her are “the last generation of stars,” since OTT is unable to produce stars. By the grace of God, we are well-known and in high demand. But rather than focusing solely on the arts, I want to engage with the actual world,” Kangana continued.
On the BJP’s ticket, Kangana Ranaut is expected to run for the Lok Sabha from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Kangana, a devoted follower of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was included on the Saffron Party’s sixth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections last week. The actress was born in Bhambla, in the Mandi district, which is close to Manali.
Kangana expressed her excitement and honour at being formally welcomed into the party on the microblogging platform X. “I have always supported my beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), without reservation. Today, the BJP national leadership announced that I would be their candidate for Loksabha from my birthplace of Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency). I will follow the high command’s decision to run in the Loksabha elections. I’m thrilled and pleased to be an official party member. I hope to be a trustworthy public servant and a deserving karyakarta. In an X post, the actress expressed gratitude.
