What is my fault? My only fault is that I gave good education to our children in Delhi
“They did not give me insulin for 15 days”
Delhi, India
On 15th May 2024, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, led a grand roadshow in North-West Delhi in support of Dr. Udit Raj, the Congress candidate from the I.N.D.I.A alliance. The event also saw the dignified presence of Delhi Pradesh Congress President, Shri Devendra Yadav.
The roadshow kicked off from K-Block, Plot No. 21-22, Jahangirpuri, and covered key locations including Kushal Cinema in Jahangirpuri, Samaypur, Rohini Sector 18, Rithala Metro Station, and Buddha Vihar Phase 2. The event aimed to rally support for Dr. Udit Raj, who is contesting the North-West Delhi Lok Sabha seat as a prominent face of the INDIA and AAP alliance.
Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in this critical election, stating, “Today, we stood united for a stronger, inclusive India. Dr. Udit Raj represents the values and vision of the I.N.D.I.A alliance, and together, we will bring change to North-West Delhi. The time has come for us to defeat the forces of division and dictatorship. What problem do they (BJP) have with me? What is my fault? My only fault is that I gave good education to our children in Delhi. I built 500 schools. PM should have made 5000. I arranged for 24 hours electricity. We built Mohalla Clinic. But the irony is that when I was in jail, they did not give me insulin for 15 days. Now it is up to you whether I will go to jail again or not.”
Dr. Udit Raj expressed his gratitude for the support, saying, “I am honored to have the backing of Shri Arvind Kejriwal and the entire I.N.D.I.A alliance. This roadshow marked a new chapter in our journey towards justice, equality, and development for all. I urge the people of North-West Delhi to join us in this movement for a brighter future.”
He targeted BJP on the issue of unemployment. Dr Udit Raj alleged that BJP had promised to provide employment but worked to reduce it. “If the coalition government is formed, 30 lakh government posts will be filled under Youth Justice. Apart from this, by implementing the guarantee of youth justice, educated youth will be given apprenticeship of one lakh rupees annually.”
To give a new direction to the condition and future of the youth, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi have included in the Congress Party’s Nyay Sankalp Patra the promise of providing jobs to the youth, It has been promised to give one lakh rupees apprenticeship to the educated youth and fill 30 lakh vacant posts in the center including closing the Agniveer recruitment and filling the old recruitment in the army.
The roadshow was a significant event, showcasing the solidarity and determination of the I.N.D.I.A alliance. Supporters and residents of North-West Delhi actively participated, making it a historic moment.
