Diplomats and Trade Representatives from 28 Countries Attend as Business Deals Exceeding ₹1,000 Crore are Finalized
The three-day industrial showcase “Build Bharat Expo 2025,” hosted by the Indian Industries Association (IIA) from March 19 to 21, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Hall No. 06, New Delhi, concluded successfully. The event’s closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Sanjay Mayukh, National Media Co-Head & Spokesperson and Chief Whip of Vidhan Parishad Dal, BJP.
In his speech, Dr. Sanjay Mayukh commended Indian entrepreneurs, describing them as “Karmayogis,” and highlighted the unwavering support provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized the significance of innovation, self-reliance, and global outreach for Indian businesses. “Events like Build Bharat Expo are key in establishing India as a formidable manufacturing and industrial hub. The active engagement of MSMEs and international collaborations underscores the strength and potential of our entrepreneurial landscape. With visionary leadership and robust government backing, Indian businesses are poised to make a significant impact on the global stage,” he stated.
Key Highlights of Build Bharat Expo 2025
- Exhibitor Participation: A total of 151 companies showcased their innovative products and engaged in B2B meetings with diplomats and trade commissioners from over 28 countries. These interactions paved the way for export opportunities, joint ventures, and business expansion.
- Announcement for 2026: National President Shri Neeraj Singhal expressed his gratitude to all the exhibitors and announced that the second edition, “Build Bharat Expo 2026,” will be held from March 23 to 25, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, Hall No. 06, New Delhi. Following this announcement, more than 40 companies confirmed their participation by making advance bookings.
- Comprehensive Report: Senior Vice President Shri Dinesh Goyal presented a detailed report, noting that the expo featured 151 stalls with cutting-edge technologies, products, and services. The event attracted ambassadors, high commissioners, diplomats, industrialists, and trade representatives from countries including Austria, Malaysia, Israel, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, Egypt, Fiji, Ethiopia, Ghana, Suriname, Iceland, South Korea, Costa Rica, and Morocco. These interactions led to significant business agreements.
Throughout the three-day event, industry experts held seminars on vital subjects such as industrial development, technology-driven design, environmental protection, infrastructure advancement, international markets, green energy, SIDBI schemes for MSMEs, and artificial intelligence. These sessions drew over 2,000 participants.
The expo also facilitated several high-value business deals, with the total agreements estimated to exceed ₹1,000 crore. With an attendance of over 5,000 visitors, the event featured more than 50 industry experts, architects, builders, engineers, and government officials.
“Build Bharat Expo 2025” not only boosted trade and business collaborations but also fortified economic and technological partnerships among nations. The event played a significant role in enhancing India’s infrastructure and construction sector, especially for MSMEs, by offering them a global platform to expand and gain visibility.
At the closing ceremony, IIA General Secretary Shri Alok Agrawal extended his gratitude to the distinguished guests and all exhibitors, expressing optimism for the continued support that will make the next edition even more successful and create further growth opportunities for MSMEs.
