Jin, the oldest member of BTS, recently shared heartwarming stories from his time serving in the South Korean military. Speaking to Weverse Magazine, he fondly remembered his experiences and the close relationships he formed with his fellow soldiers.

During his service, Jin often treated his squamates to meals, earning him the nickname “God” for his generosity. Despite playful teasing as “Sergeant Kim” due to his occasional naps, Jin regularly treated them to fried chicken, jokbal, pizza, and barbecue, showing kindness to younger soldiers who were new to military life.
