Arjun Ram Meghwal Reconstitutes Supreme Court with New Judges: Know Here

Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Law Minister, reconstituted the court with all of its members.

Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal stated that the appointment of Justices N Kotiswar Singh and R Mahadevan to the Supreme Court on Tuesday was a significant turning point for the Indian legal system. The declaration was made public through a post on the website X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Chief Justice of India and the other 34 judges, who were recently appointed, will once again be part of the Supreme Court’s sanctioned strength once they take the oath of office.

The court’s capacity to efficiently handle the increasing number of cases is expected to be enhanced by this step.

The first Manipuri judge nominated to the Supreme Court is Justice N Kotiswar Singh, the Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir. The representation of the northeastern states on the US Supreme Court has seen a substantial change since his appointment.

As the interim Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, Judge R Mahadevan has a remarkable career in the judiciary and a lot of experience. It is believed that his appointment is a recognition of his achievements in the legal field and his ability to provide excellent service.

These choices represent ongoing attempts to provide a diverse and representative court that can address the vast variety of Complex legal matters that the nation deals with.
