Ananya Panday is not only making waves in the fashion industry because of her experimental styles and elegant choices. While the Call Me Bae actor is known for deftly mixing Western with ethnic wear, she has impressed the fashion critics yet again with an ensemble inspired by flowers and lehengas.
In her most recent appearance, Panday gave a contemporary twist to the conventional blouse style: she wore a nude bustier with wreaths of delicate white flowers instead. She paired it with a yellow checkered cotton sari for a soft, natural look and went with messy waves, although she went barefoot and wore a subtle nose pin.

What stood out was the spectacular phoolon kamaal or moon veil, as the brand Diaries of Nomad calls it, draped over her head. Founder Harshita Gautam told us that the veil took inspiration from the traditional phoolon ki chaddar that one usually sees draped over the newly married couple at Indian weddings.
“This unique piece features over 800 hand-rolled white Chanderi flowers, carefully tucked by hand onto an ivory pearl moti base, and is a labor of love crafted by a group of 10 skilled artisan women over seven days,” she shared.
“Not merely a fashion statement, Ananya’s choice celebrates handmade over shop-bought. It signifies the soul of India – a celebration of creativity and tradition,” Gautam added further. “Such pieces absorb memories, foster human connections, and remind us of the true luxury set within handmade craftsmanship.”
